No our troops don't. Bush has taken more vacation days than any president in history. He shouldn't take ANY vacation until the war is over.

June 25th, 2009I am looking to find some new hobbies that would be interesting and creative keep in mind this is for college age individuals.
I love doing photocollages, which I do for all kinds of people of all ages. I am also into tracing my genealogy, and restoring old family photos.
For laughs, I write stupid poems online and see how many bogus "poetry awards" I get offered for complete drivel.
I love geocaching, it is great for all ages and it is addictive. You just need a GPS device and computer access. Go to www,geocaching.com and see what caches are in your area. Then get ready for a grown up treasure hunt! I also like the book "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Geocaching".
How do I build friendships in a new job?
June 25th, 2009I Just started a new job in August. I feel that my coworkers are not very open. There's 2 of us who are new in my workplace but I feel that they are more open to the other person. I feel this because they have small talks, whereas if im there, we both do our jobs and do not chat about anything other than work-related issues. It might be personality differences…It takes a while for me to warm up to new people. What can I do?
Just go up and make a short comment about something. "Man can you believe this weather?" The pick up on what they are saying and just start chatting.
Sometimes the conversation comes to a lull, where a direction is not obvious. Just end it there, by saying, that you'd better get back to work or you fall behind or whatever. No reason to push it.

Sounds like you already understand purple. Purple is considered mature, yet you seldom see it on old ladies! Purple has always meant luxury and sophistication. A woman in purple isn't afraid to stand out or to announce herself to the world. Purple is bold, but not brash. It speaks clear and loud, but it isn't whiny or strident. Purple was once worn only by royalty, and it still carries its royal heritage in how we perceive the colour and the people who wear it. Tints of purple are considered old fashioned, and dark shades of purple are considered dark and menacing, more so than black. Purple is bold, a dress in pink is girly and frou-frou, the same dress in purple is suddenly sophisticated and chic. Purple is one of my favourite colours.

June 25th, 2009For many college students like myself, eatting healthy is not always possible and many college students are on a shoe string budget for groceries and many students end up eatting food they do not like. This food can include Ramen Noodles, Canned Food, Frozen Food, and eatting fast food such as pizza and hamburgers.
What kind of advice would you give to college students to eat healthy when they are on a budget for food and groceries?
fruits and veggies are a lot cheaper than eating out. try spicing up your noodles with small peices of meat and veggies, kinda like a little stir fry. it's healthier and yummier. Also, milk, eggs, and flour can make thousands of different foods. For example, Swedish Pancakes. Add a little cinnamin and jam or fruit, they're delicious and healthy! I eat those for dinner sometimes. You can get billions of recipes online that only require those three ingredients, plus whatever you want to add to it. It's simple to eat healthy on a tight budget. It's also cheaper to eat healthier!
